About United Roofing

From a Small Start…

Patrick Genest, CEO and owner-operator, established United Roofing in July 2007. In the beginning, a small crew of four people completed the day to day roofing projects in Calgary.

Over the years, we expanded our operation to include wall assembly, flat roofing, and waterproofing. Our goal is to offer our clients a simple one-stop shop building envelope solution, ensuring all buildings are taking care of and properly maintained from the ground up.

United Roofing now has a crew of 50 full-time dedicated staff members that are able to complete any commercial or industrial project, no matter the size.

In 2014, through hard work and persistence, we achieved our safety COR recognition and in 2016 we become a member of a select group of roofing contractors, becoming a member of the Alberta Roofing Contractor Association.

United Roofing Inc. is committed to protecting our workers, subcontractors, property, and the public from any accidental losses. All of our employees work together to provide the safest environment possible on all of our construction sites, in the office, and on the road. Employees and subcontractors are expected to attend all safety meetings/toolbox meetings and abide by all safety rules, including abiding by all established Safe Work Practices and Safe Job Procedures as set out in our Health and Safety Manual.

Every construction site is different and we are always checking for different hazards and risks at each job site, as well as adjusting quickly to situations when circumstances change. Site Hazard Assessments and Fall Protection Plans are always completed by all members of the crew, every day before work begins. We make sure that all employees on site are trained specifically for the job, are aware of the risks, and know to react in the event of an emergency. At United Roofing, each person is responsible and held accountable for safety. Our number one priority is for our employees to return home safely at the end of each day.
